The “Sifaufaa event if much anticipated entertainment event to mark the anniversary of MNDF each year. The aim of Sifaufaa is to facilitate MNDF staff and their families to get introduced to each other and share experiences in an informal atmosphere. The Sifaufa will be held on the 9th and 10th of this month. The event consisted of Entertainments and a banquet. The Chief Guest of the celebration was the president His Excellency Mr. Maumoon abdul Gayyoom. The president was welcomed at the drill square of Kalhuthukkalaa Koshi by the Minister of Defence and National Security and the deputy Commander in Chief Honorable Ismail Shafeeu with the MNDF Chief of Staff Major General Mohamed Zahir. The Sifaufaa was also visited by ministers and senior dignitaries of the government.
