Commanding Officer Captain Mohamed Aliya of the Malaysian Royal Navy ship made a courtesy call on the Chief of staff Major General Mohamed Zahir on the 8th of this month. The meeting was held at the Chief of Staff’s office. Office of the Chief of Staff’s administrative officer Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Nazim also participated in the meeting. The discussion was on ways to strengthen the ties of friendship that exist between both militaries. Chief of Staff also noted that the relationship with the Malaysian Navy would further enhance as a result of such port visits. Captain Mohamed Aliya and Chief of Staff Major General Mohamed Zahir exchanged gifts at the end of this meeting.
